First Book has established important partnerships with other community nonprofits to support and extend our work. We partner with the Community Foundation for financial and administrative support and with many other organizations that serve disadvantaged children to get more books into the hands of children who need them.

Partnership with the Community Foundation

First Book wishes to thank the Community Foundation of Collier County for its ongoing support and guidance. As an all-volunteer nonprofit, First Book-Collier County has established The First Book Fund of the Community Foundation of Collier County and have gained many benefits as a result:

  • Access to an established, impartial community resource
  • Third party oversight
  • Sound investment strategies
  • Stringent financial practices
  • Maximum tax benefits allowed by law

We thank the Community Foundation of Collier County for providing a community resource where like-minded donors can give to a designated cause.
