Books for Collier Kids (BCK) (www.BooksforCollierKids.org) kicks off the holiday season announcing that the volunteer-run organization donated 100,000 books to more than 6,000 students over the past year. On Dec. 8 BCK joined Christ Child Society of Naples to provide more than 400 new, age-appropriate books to children in need during a holiday event at the home of Cathy Boltz in Naples. The books were given to children who receive services at local nonprofit organizations including Youth Haven, Providence House, The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Fun Time Early Childhood Academy and Grace Place for Children and Families.
