Holidays are a wonderful time to give the gift of reading to a child by choosing a book that fits the interests and sparks the
imagination of the young reader. It can seem like a daunting task with so many titles available, but don’t be discouraged. Share your love of reading with a book gift that will become a favorite by keeping the interests of the recipients in mind. There is no greater joy than giving a young person his or her very own book to read.
In choosing a book gift, focus on characters, authors or illustra- tors you know your particular child would love. Knowing your child’s interests will help you pick books with a theme that will engage him.
